Lakaz Bizou was born from a deep search for meaning and reconnection with myself.

My name is Élodie. I am a mother of two children, a Mauritian living in France. After five years of entrepreneurial journey, filled with research, doubts, and learning, I decided to bring to life a project that truly reflects who I am. Lakaz Bizou is the fruit of my mixed heritage, a brand deeply rooted in my origins and inspired by the wild and generous nature of my native Mauritius Island.

Did you know? In Mauritian Creole, "Lakaz" means "the house". I designed Lakaz Bizou as a warm refuge, a home full of softness and tenderness where one comes to take care of oneself.

Passionate about the art of service and sharing, I created this shop to offer you an unforgettable experience. My dearest wish is to transport you through each piece, bringing a piece of the exoticism and poetry of my island into your daily life.

Beyond a simple brand, I have always considered my true mission to be to empower women. My story — one of reinvention and courage — is also that of so many other women. That's why Lakaz Bizou is, above all, a story of heart written by a woman, for women.
